Sony Crackle

Competing with the world’s streaming services is tough. Doing it with an unrecognized name is near impossible. So to drive awareness about Sony’s free streaming service called Crackle, we knew we had to give the brand a loud, totally ownable voice that couldn’t be missed.

While those other guys were busy taking themselves way too seriously, we lightened the mood and even poked fun at our throwback selection of free movies. I lent my voice to some of the shenanigans, including movie teasers, memes, and custom reactive copy that showed fans we were really listening.

TL;DR: I wrote as obnoxiously as the orange logo.
